You can now use your Beacon Workflows to trigger Zaps via our Zapier Integration. It's never been simpler to integrate Beacon with over 6000 other products with Zapier's automation platform. There's no need to use complicated Webhooks or code: Just create your Beacon workflow, choose 'Trigger a Zap' as the action, then head over to Zapier where you'll be able to select that workflow as a trigger for any Zap you want to build.
This feature is available to customers on Standard, Premium, and Ultimate plans with the Workflows element enabled.
We've made a couple of upgrades to the Beacon Portal. Beacon's full icon set is now supported in the portal. You can also now rename and hide dropdown options on Portal forms just like you can do on regular Beacon forms.
We've put together some example dashboards to help you get started on your Beacon reporting journey. When you create a new dashboard you'll be able to choose either a blank dashboard or a template to build from.
We've started work on our ISO 27001:2022 certification. This process involves reviewing, standardising, and improving our entire organisation's data security controls and policies. Finally, there is an audit process to ensure that Beacon is entirely compliant with the standard. We expect that this process will take some time, but it's a great way to ensure that we continue to hold ourselves to the very highest industry standards when keeping your data secure. If you're new to Beacon and you're looking to really get to grips with your CRM then you can enrol in one of our free online courses through Beacon Lighthouse. We've got General training courses plus Deep Dive courses on Major Gifts & Grants, Events & Ticketing and Gift Aid, all curated by Senior Customer Success Manager and Lighthouse Keeper, Luke.
We run a variety of events to help you to get the most out of Beacon, including regular clinics, deep dives into specific features, and in-person meetups - the next of which is happening in Leeds next month. We've also got recordings of previous events so you'll never miss something useful. You can find everything listed on the Beacon events page.
