We've been in touch about our domain switchover already, the hard work is now done and everything is running smoothly on our new domain. Don't worry - your old links will just redirect to beaconcrm.org so there's no need to change anything.
We switched to our .org domain because it fits better with our goals as an organisation and we've brought the Beacon Dashboard over to our .org domain too, so now it's easier to log in from the Beacon website and there's a handy "Go to Dashboard" button that shows when you're logged in.
Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) came into effect last month and if we did our jobs properly you shouldn't have noticed anything! SCA is all about improving the security of online payments. We've done a load of work for you behind the scenes and made sure that donations collected through Beacon continue to work smoothly.
We haven't made a fuss because this is the sort of thing that we worry about so that you don't have to, but if you'd like to find out more we've written a guide to SCA that you can read here.
You can now add tags when you export to Mailchimp. This makes it easier to segment your contacts in Mailchimp. You can find out more about connecting Mailchimp to Beacon in this article.
