Here are the latest highlights from the lovely nerds of the Beacon product team.
Customisable fonts on forms
You can now choose from a large subset of Google's font library for your Beacon forms. You can use this to better align your forms with your brand, like Special Olympics Ireland and Arnos Vale have already done!
You'll see a handy new dialog on your form configuration page, and a nifty preview to give you a feel for what your form will look like.
Submission agreement fields
You can now add checkboxes to your forms which need to be checked before a form can be submitted, but don't require a field to be created in your Beacon database. This is really handy for asking people to accept some terms, or to confirm that they understand the implications of submitting a form.
To use this feature, you'll need to add a new 'Submission agreement' section to your form.
Enthuse import templates
In anticipation of the upcoming release of our Enthuse integration we've put together a set of templates for importing your Enthuse reports into Beacon. You can find instructions for how to use these templates here.
Configurable dropdowns in forms
Dropdown fields in forms are now far more flexible. You can reorder, rename, and select a subset of the dropdown options you've specified in your field. You no longer have to include every option from your dropdown in your form field, and you can change the names of the options and choose their order.
If your dropdown is based on a related record, you can now use a set of filter conditions to choose your dropdown options, rather than picking each one individually. For example, this makes it easier to display your list of funds, and to automatically update your form when you add a new fund.
