Introducing the Solutions Partner programme

Chris Houghton
May 26, 2022

Today we're announcing a big change to how Beacon is implemented for charities switching to Beacon.

We're introducing our official Solutions Partner programme.

Solutions partners are Beacon experts who work closely with charities who've chosen to move forward with Beacon. They're smart, technical, data-minded, and love working with charities.

Partners are like an extension of the Beacon team. We work closely to actively support Partners at every stage of the CRM implementation process - to make sure that customers have the best possible experience from start to finish.

We offer all partners extensive training, official certification, and loads of support when any questions inevitably come up during CRM implementation projects.

We're looking for people who are: (any of the following)

  • People who love seeing the positive impact that technology can have
  • Lovers of spreadsheets
  • Website developers
  • Experienced with charity CRMs
  • People who enjoy training others (particularly in software)

Does this sound like you? You can find out more here, and do please get in touch if you'd like to learn more.

Why does Beacon work with partners?

In the past, we've aways run CRM implementation projects in-house. We've got a star Customer Success team working closely with charities of all shapes and sizes to help make their Beacon experience a success.

We've learned a lot about how to run successful CRM implementation projects - and also where our product needed improvements to support them.

We've shipped hundreds of features off the back of CRM implementation projects.

Today, more charities are choosing to work with Beacon than ever before. If you're one of them - we want to make sure you have the best possible experience when getting set up with Beacon.

Previously, the best thing for our customers was to implement Beacon with our in-house Customer Success team.

As we've grown and the product has matured, we've become more aware of what we're best at: building a great product.

We're also more aware consultants are best at: holistic, process-driven project management, with expertise gathered over a long time and a wide breadth of areas. This expertise brings so much value to CRM projects, and goes well beyond the configuration of the system itself.

CRM isn't software - it's culture.

CRM relates to many, many different areas that go well beyond product features:

  • Fundraising best practices
  • Reporting & insights
  • Digital transformation
  • Organisation design
  • Website development
  • Custom integrations
  • Social media
  • Change management
  • Governance

All of these are huge topics that charities need to consider when implementing a new CRM, and ones that Solutions Partners are perfect for.

One of our values is to "move fast and humbly", and we realised that to provide best possible experience for customers, we needed to rethink how charities implement Beacon in their organisations.

Have a question about the above? Do feel free to get in touch. If you're interested in becoming a solutions partner, you can learn more here.
