The Beacon API is organised around REST and designed with simplicity and clarity in mind. Our API has predictable resource-oriented URLs, returns JSON-encoded responses, and uses standard HTTP response codes, authentication, and verbs.
As every Beacon database is configured differently, we auto-generate comprehensive API documentation directly from the configuration of your Beacon database. This includes any custom fields and record types you've added, and modifications you may have made to existing fields. Pretty darn nifty.
