Happy new year, Beaconeers! Here are some recently released features ready to kick-off your 2023.
Field visibility on forms
You can now add conditions to fields, and entire sections, to determine whether they should show or not. This means you can collect information based on a given context. For example, if a user selects 'Other' as a dropdown option you can have a text field appear for more information. This allows you to create more interactive and powerful form experiences.
This feature is available on the Premium and Ultimate plans.
Custom amounts for memberships
You can now allow your members to choose how much they would like to pay for their memberships. You can also add an optional suggested amount.
Labels for membership forms
Membership titles no longer need to be the same as the membership type that you store on the membership record - you can choose a much friendlier public-facing title!
Invoicing on membership forms
You can now create a membership form that doesn't collect payments. The form will create a membership with the status of 'Pending', and will create a payment with 'Payment method' set to 'Invoice' and the 'Paid' checkbox unticked. This means that you can follow up with those uncollected memberships and send them an invoice. Nice and simple!
Cover fees on ticketing forms
You can now add a 'cover fees' section on ticketing forms (as well as donation and membership forms). This will increase both the amount paid for the tickets, and the amount of any additional donation, by the percentage specified.
